I am extremely thankful for Chi Omega. There are countless things about ChiO that have had an incredible impact on my life. Among them are the older girls I have gotten to know and the lifelong friends I have made through ChiO.
College is full of figuring out who you want to be and how you want to live your life. I have had the amazing opportunity of being able to get to know some of the junior and senior girls in ChiO. It is was insane to me that though I am just a sophomore, older girls would be willing to spend time with me and become some of my closest friends. They have had been an incredible example of how to live your life to impact. They are full of wisdom and advice and acceptance. They have taught me what it means to be confident in who God made you to be. I have learned so much from each of them and look up to them more than I can say.
ChiO has also given me lifelong friends. I cannot even imagine life without the girls I have gotten to know through ChiO. They have loved me and pushed me spiritually, personally, and academically. I have become a better person because of their influence on my life. Each one of my friends is unique and special in their own way. They have shown me what it looks like to love well, to struggle together, and to live life to the fullest.
I am thankful for the way God has used ChiO in my life to bless me more than I could have ever imagined.
